Bingo. I'm in a serious relationship and what I miss most about the single life is just the general freedom to do anything, not having any obligations to anyone. I could do anything and go anywhere and not have to check in with anybody. I miss hanging out with my friends, most of whom are single. I can't hang out with them as much because they do single guy things like hit up bars, clubs and parties.

Great thread Nikki, the thing I miss most about being with my ex waswhen she used to just lay in my arms. As much as i love sex you dont have to have intercourse to get that wonderful feeling that you desire. Laying there with her and just giving her sweet kisses was enough to make me feel so at peace, looking into her eyes and feeling the most powerful feeling of love like I never knew before. Anyway, despite I am single for quite some time (nearly 6 years soon), I don't have the time to annoy myself and see a lot of friends and women as well. I don't have an easy temper, she didn't have one easy temper as well, so we both broke because of our characters.
I have encountered some women who were mainly interested in my money, I am sorry but I absolutely don't need a woman leeching for money and who isn't looking for feelings. I am not in hurry but all comes to those who know to wait.

The only thing I can honestly say I maybe miss about being single, is not having to worry about stuff like morning breath, shaving my legs all the time, being sexy all the time.. I find I'm more laid back when I'm single but when I'm in a relationship I'm such a people pleaser that I will try to go above and beyond..

I have two view points on this.. If it's your place and you guys DON'T live together, she has no room or right to tell you what to do or when to do it.. If you live together she still has no right but out of respect for it being her place too, it's nice if you get things done in a timely manner.. I'm a total believer in sharing responsibilities, she should be pulling her weight too..

Well, you need to make things straight and put them on table with your partner when you are planning a long term relationship and especially mariage. I have seen some terrible divorces the last four years. Plus the mariage don't last as long as they used to be. Also there is a character compatibility problem that shouldn't be underestimated when both partners have a very strong character and temperament, it can be explosive in case of conflicts. That is why I am not planning to get married but live my life and maybe start a long term relationship. Anyway as I said, I am not hurrying.
