... I question the validity of Global Warming.... oops, sorry.. the latest catch phrase is "Climate Change". It feels so much more touchy feely, huh? 
Climate change activist Kari Norgaard equates skepticism with racism.
Global warming alarmist, Kari Norgaard, equates skepticism about climate change to racism. They have been labeled with many names, but skeptics now endure the most egregious, insulting, name-calling of all.
So, who is Kari Norgaard that we should worry about whom she calls racists? Miss Norgaard is a member of the Sociology Department at the University of Oregon and current caller of climate catastrophe in ‘Planet Under Pressure,’ a climate conference in London. She presented a paper calling for climate change skepticism to be treated as a 'sickness' or mental illness.
Without reference to scientific studies, nevermind sociological ones, the learned lady has proclaimed that resisting acceptance of manmade climate change is an aberrant social behavior that needs to be treated. She calls such behaviors racist and equates the concept to slavery in the U.S. South. Whoa!
If I didn’t think she was so serious, I wouldn’t be worried. But, Miss Norgaard is as serious and steady as the sun rising at dawn every day. She, along with other social science academics, seeks to change the behaviors and beliefs of large populations, nevermind that those beliefs have basis in lies.
Other aims in the cadre of such eco-alarmists include herding populations into urban centers so that nature can be preserved in all areas beyond those centers. Sounds like a gulag, where people are sent for thought crimes. Off the skeptics go to psychiatric hospitals for ****** frontal lobotomies!
Another one of Miss Norgaard’s bright ideas is a technical dictatorship to regulate human activity, the pure purpose of which is to save the planet from people. There goes our freedom to think for ourselves. There goes our planet under utter destruction from us. Miss Norgaard must know better. And, I am no longer amused.
So, yeah, I am alarmed by Miss Norgaard and the way-off-scale sociological socialists in her academic neighborhoods. They have ignored the hard science of climate change, have not noticed that the debate goes on, and are using the perpetuated lies to gain power over people. Their arguments appear logical at first blush until the ‘sickness’ they see in others manifests from within themselves. An alarming cancer is growing within the global warming alarmist group.
This reminds me of the scarey stuff we read about in George Orwell’s book, 1984. Is Big ******* watching us? No, Kari Norgaard is.
