Snobby Neighbors Reject Wifey

haha nice. i dont see anything wrong with them building a home where they want. its not like they have a studio or anything. they use a camcorder and tape what some people do and dont tape. then they upload it online on their paysite. no harm there!

i assure you, people are geting and giving blowjobs all up and down that street, and im sure a few of them have taped their intimate moments as well. so what the fuck. she can live near me if she wants. ill bring her cookies and baked goods and borrow cups and cups of sugar.

Hate snobbers....its probably worried wives that all of a sudden their husbands will get hot and bothered by the idea of a pornstar on the block.

It's the typical Valium popping housewife paranoia, who mostly likely let their 11 year old watch violent movies and listen to 50 cent, found everywhere in this dumbed down redneck country.

Although I think this me and this guy must be brothers from different mothers:
"Let me wish you continued luck and success in your business," Craig wrote to the Ottersons in a note he copied to the city staff. "And don't let other people stick their noses in it, unless they want to pony up the monthly fee to watch."
NICE.

I am sure it goes deeper than jealous wives not wanting her in there neighborhood. There are children to consider and of course I am sure local churches are in there in the mix too. Its instinct to protect your "world". So many things in this world cannot be just black and white. While they certainly have a right to live where they want. The people who already live there, that have already grounded their lives and families have a right to protect said families too.

I think they should have picked a very secluded spot to reside with no neighbors for miles around. Or perhaps made a conscience choice to find a studio and not do it from their home any longer. I am also sure that the opposition was not a surprise. Ain't free advertising great? ;)

All just IMHO of course.

How are the children of the neighborhood in danger? The Ottersons don't any history of child abuse do they?

I'd love it if they were my neighbors. For a small fee I'd even run the camera.

I love my country and statements like this suck. If we are so rednecked and dumbed down get a visa and hit the bricks. Sorry but that statement did hit a nerve. I don't see why posting about "desperate housewives" type mentality had to spill over to that. I am disappointed to say the least.:(

I would be in 7th Heaven if Wifey moved into my neighbourhood. I would never leave my house, with my telescope and binoculars set up

I would only leave when the cops came to haul my ass to the slammer

I think the majority of the people in this country are half-wits. So, you want me to leave? Or is freedom of speech one of the things you love about your country? By the way, I consider myself one huge fucking Redneck.

LadyLove you seem like a nice person, you’re a good person to have on the board, and I like you, but please please please don't tell me your busting out the absolutely ridiculous "think of the children" excuse people use when they can't come up with any logical reason for their actions besides something offending their morality. Unless the children develop x-ray vision I think they will be fine.

On another note for things like this, I'm one of those people that thinks that if what you do doesn't hurt anybody else in any remotely direct way, and you do it in the privacy of your own home, or at least where it isn’t out in the community, you should be allowed to do anything you want. Things like community standards should be for the community, not your private life and shouldn't apply. It isn't like somebody is putting up an offensive 30-meter square billboard so the whole town has to see it. It’s people getting upset like this that had sodomy and other stuff from dumb laws become illegal for so long, because people didn’t like it.

Like I stated and I thought clearly, its a two sided coin. Each party is right in their own right. I just try not to look at anything with a closed mind. I stated they have the right to live where they want. I also stated the homeowners have a right to try to "poopoo" it if they care to.

I also believe that what others or myself do within the confines of our own homes is no ones business but ours. On the other hand I don't want a meth lab or a halfway house for child molesters next door either. As for the children's xray eyes, it only takes one kid thats seen wifey..the grapevine and every kid in a 50 mile radius will know. See what I was saying? Nothing is ever just black and white. The gray areas are often the toughest things we face in life. Hard to resolve at times.

Sorry I disappointed you with my view that both have valid points, but thats IMHO.

what the fuck you lookin at?
It's a free fuckin country! No pun intended...I think...anyway, what wifey and her husband do in their own home is their business. If they chose to film it and make money doing it then that's their choice aswell!

Making meth isn't a guaranteed right that's in the constitution or something that the world considered a human right like free speech. You shouldn't have to ask your next-door neighbors if it's ok to exercise your rights. The child molesters are convinced criminals and have proven themselves to be dangerous by the actions they have taken. I don't know of anybody that sees child molesting as a right anybody has either.

As for the children's xray eyes, it only takes one kid thats seen wifey..the grapevine and every kid in a 50 mile radius will know.

So??? I guess I don't see what your saying. How would that be any different that that same kid telling them about other porn stars he has seen on the internet if they never live there. Isn't that their parent's job to look after their own kids in case things like that might happen. Unless you’re saying the very knowledge that porn stars and sex actually exist is going to corrupt them beyond hope. In that case this wouldn't even be a drop in the bucket compared to everything else out there and the world is too far-gone to help them now. We would have to ban all television, radio, internet, magazines, and books they only might be able to get their hands on. It isn't like just being in the same vicinity of another person is going to pornify peoples' children by osmosis.

So making porn and selling it from your home is a guaranteed right that's in the constitution? Wow, how you took my post and stretched it all out of shape.

You can't see that a point was only being made with the comparisons, not each thing a carved in stone example? Please reread my post. I simply stated that nothing is just black and white. I said they both have a point, now lets leave it at that. I am really beginning to feel attacked.

I never said they had no right to live there. You have your opinion and I have mine.

I have to say if they(the Ottersons) are decent people(and I have no reason to say that they are not) and as long as they are very careful about where they film for their site, there is no reason not to have them in any neighborhood. In fact it is a shame for them that their identity is out, otherwise this would not be an issue at all.

Hmm. I have.. no easily discernible opinion on this. Nobody is in danger.. sensibilities are being offended..and the 'privacy of their own home' is on sale around 20 bucks a month, so that particular view doesnt really fly.

Umm.. wifey is hot. DawnsPlace is hot.. and if they were next door.. my ear would be glued to their walls, and my eyes in their window. But their lifestyle choices are all too obvious in such a manner, and paranoid white america doesnt want somebody 'different'. Not to say anything about repression and prejudicial treatment.. but it is infuriating, in a way.. to think about this. America is hardly free, unless you're like IAmForever and just do whatever you want and f!ck the consequences. Sure, you're free to be a righteous a-hole. (Not saying IAF is one, but he sounds the part, G_d love 'im! :))

The story does not state where the "mailing" was sent from or from whom. Who was that person(s). Those are the people who like to keep themselves above others, those are the people who cry every time they think their sensibilities will be harmed.
How did they know of WifeysWorld anyway, I ask? Maybe they are members of her site or maybe they are internet porn surfers like millions are.
A lot of her pics that have the outdoors in the background seem to have the AZ landscape in them and the story states they lived there up to two years ago - where was the crying then? Oh yeah, probably because they were in a middle class neighborhood!
I get it now, the wealthy folk want no part of a wealthy "internet porn" couple bringing shame to the neighborhood.
