Morbid Angel rule the death metal scene. I snagged the new album a couple of days back and can't stop listening to it. It's much more like Domination, which IMO is their best effort. Also, check out 'Dead Silence' (Track 3 off 'The End Complete') by Obituary for classic technical death played in an agonising manner. Old school rocks.

Reverend, i ordered 'Heretic' from Earache's webshop on friday, so hopefully it should come next week. I've already downloaded it and from what i can remember it seems like its the middle ground for all Morbid Angel albums. I can hear a lot od 'Domination', 'Formulas...', 'Covenant' and 'Gateways...' in the new stuff. But i dont think i'll like it more than 'Gateways...'.
how can you not like Morbid Angel!? They're the best Metal band in existence, IMO.

I've never been much of fan of Dave Vincent, although i enjoy Domination and Covenant. I dont see why so many people see him to be the missing part of the puzzle.
