Skinny Jeans are for Skinny Girls

I thought it was just a rule. Am I missing something here? Is anyone else tired of seeing skinny jeans on fat girls? Or even worse, skinny jeans on guys of any shape or size?

haha i dont mind a guy in skinny jeans esp if he has great legs and a pert arse. On girls you have to have great legs...skinny jeans just dont look good on me im too curvy. I look great in low rider jeans tho!

Its been explained to me that Wranglers/Cowboy jeans do not qualify as skinny jeans, as they are used solely for their utility as it pertains to "cowboying," and not as a fashion statement.

Don't confuse what I'm saying here. First of all, there's a big difference in having a nice big fat ass, and being a big fatass. Of course anyone can wear whatever they like. I just don't understand the trend. I was waiting for a parking spot to open the other day, and the guy who was parked in the spot I had my eye on was an overweight young man wearing skinny jeans. It took him more than 2 minutes to get both of his legs inside of the car, get it started and leave the spot. It just got me wondering why someone would choose to wear clothes clearly not designed for their body type that more than somewhat restrict natural movement of the legs, rednder pockets useless and make everyday life that much more difficult all without even having the benefit of looking decent in them?

Aside from that, with the number of DVT blood clot related deaths on the rise these days, it seems like a health concern.
