Well, from my own personal experience with auditions, it's good that you felt good about your performance, but don't dwell on it. Just think of it as a good experience, and if anything comes out of it, all the better. I've had auditions where I thought I played the best I've ever played in my life, and I'm really confident that I'll get the gig because I know nobody else could've been half as good as I was, and then I get turned down. That's not exactly the most pleasant feeling in the world. :2 cents:
