Silent Hill v.s. Resident Evil

Silent Hill is far creepier... RE is more action. Neither one is more realistic than the other... So I vote for SH for it's ability to actually put me on the edge of my seat, unlike any other game I've ever played.

silent hill is scary but i think resident evil is just a bit more scary

Silent Hill has/does provided an element that even horror movies had to study years and years to get right. I know RE came first and most people are biased on the games they grew up with but after trying Resident Evil, I ended up hopping ship to Silent Hill and love it to this day. Nothing can compair to the amazing music, monster/demon design and Character development. The enviroment are always beautifully bizzare and terrifying and though I LOVE RE4 and RE5 (go figure the new RE styles finally got my attention), Silent Hill is by far the most beautiful and terrifying series there is and will probably ever be.
