Wenlock and Mandeville have some potential from a marketing point of view, they definitely beat Izzy the Sesame Street reject. The previous olympic mascots don't fare much better imo...

I think england have a pretty good record of hosting major events, like the Commonwealth Games and Euro 2000. We should show a bit of fucking national pride, it's about time we celebrated the good things that are left in this country

Voter update: things have tightened up quite a bit it appears votes are being cast along "national pride" lines. The English members are retaliating against America while the Non-English seem to be turning out against Wenlock and Mandeville :1orglaugh
