Should The U.S Hold Military Parades?

While we don't hold massive military parades in D.C like the ones in Russia or North Korea, many cities and towns do hold military parades. Many also have air & water shows that display our military might. If we were to have a military parade in D.C, what would we showcase? Isn't a majority of our military equipment currently n active war zones?

As a showcase of American military power? No. That's tacky and not needed. That's what our carrier battlegroups and airwings underway are for. To celebrate and honor our military personnel and veterans? Yes.

But we should have more military protests by far.
Every fucking day.

Otherwise one day the psychopaths who run the military and who now seem to have a blank check to spend and do what they want regardless of the law are going to get us all killed.

Also with the money they borrow and waste on the military to fight fake enemys we could have free education and free medical for every single American from cradle to grave and still have money leftover enough to fix the nearly 3rd world infrastructure.

But I suppose that money is better spent on the weapons manufacturers and the military contractors.

If Obama decided to start having military parades I would've been all for it. But if Trump did the same I'd be against. Waste of resources and such

Only on Memorial day, and Veterans day, and WITHOUT the obnoxious display of every bit of hardware we possess....if some is included as part of the display of honor, and respect to the ones that have fallen, or served.
