Well folks i'm talking about the terriorist that got put away for downing
that Pan Am flight all the moons ago.

Now he's been released to die from terminal cancer.

Personally I would have said that he should have stayed.As life imprisonment,
should mean for life.

Well the problem you'll run into with me is that I believe certain crimes require the ultimate sanction (death penalty). If you down a plane ending many lives, there is only one penalty possible in my mind commensurate with such an act.

Stayed (probably). Was watching CNN and the Scottish minister spoke about 'compassion' and 'humanity': he too has a point (so too do the victims and relatives). It's not an easy one...

What about the compassion that he and the rest of these jihadist terrorists demonstrates against the rest of the world? He should be left to die in captivity. What's next? I have never seen the sense of keeping old dying men locked up in prisons ,but I always thought there were Prison Hospices for this type of thing.


The prison system should be for justice & not to participate in the suffering of an incapacitated/ dying human. I would personally consider his conviction, the time he's served & billions paid to victims familes enough.

I dont think he did it anyway & he should never had been jailed on the flimsiest of evidence , do you know there was a break in at the airport in London next to the baggage handling for PANAM flights on the day that plane got bombed , it was kept hush hush !!!!!

This should have went straight to the crown prosocuters or maybe it did , who knows?


This is an innocent man who was framed to get a conviction , people who say he should die in prison should really do some research & not just go by the conviction that makes him automaticly guilty in your eyes!!

How many times have we here in Britain jailed the wrong people just to get a conviction and look good in the eyes of the world......countless innocent Irishmen , jailed for being Irish & framed , because they needed a conviction on bombings.............Barry George , convicted because he was a bit odd and fitted the bill..........countless women who had the audacity to suffer two cot-deaths jailed because lightning doesnt strike twice in the eyes of British law..........well it does!!!

I agree, he should have been put to death on television for the world to see.

He bombs a plane load of people and gets life, and a football player shoots himself in the legs and gets two years?

Let the football player go and kill the plane bomber.
