Yes! They've fucked this country long enough...besides dick should be in prison for attempted ******!

Hmm, lemme see! If you'd start impeachment proceedings tomorrow, they'd be out of office by approximately ... January 2009!!!

Good idea! Let's have'em bastards kicked out! ;)

Little too late to think about the impeachment idea. Should have happened during the first term. Damage has already been done.

Ok who voted no?lol

Of course they should they have ****** their power and ******** basic rights of many and those are impeachable offenses according to the constitution.

Don't think they've exceeded what lincoln did in the civil war w/susension of habeaus corpus. they're pragmatic, they fight dirty, but they have yet exceed what a lot of other european nations have done in the fight against terrorists, including invade countries.

Your right they have not gone as far as Lincoln did,but the US is also not engaged in a civil war which truly threatened the nations survival as Lincoln was confronted by.

i voted "yes". i did not take into account any other past leaders' actions, or impeachments, as they are irrelevant. i believe "only 18 months left and powerless" is also irrelevant. the most important thing about impeaching them, would be the message sent to the rest of the world, and to the future.

to our friends, alienated or otherwise. to our enemies, who lured us into a ****** crossfire. to our ******** and grandchildren, who will shoulder the real burden of our folly of empire.

the message: "this can't happen in america"

we voted them in, they are ours to remove. otherwise, anyone in the rest of the world can say of an american "you chose empire over freedom"

as america slides downward in the global pecking-order, our enemies emboldened and multiplying, shunned by former friends, we will have lost both empire and freedom.

Nope. This Congress has done nothing significant yet and that impeachment process would totally distract them, my tax money would be ****** and at the end you would have another President pardoning them. Not worth it, the people that voted for him twice should impeach themselves for falling twice for his bullshit and making the rest of us misserable. Bush and Cheney's have so much ***** Iraqi,Afghani,American over their heads that life will take care of it one way or the other.

I voted yes. In addition of course to the middle east debacle, our president further sparked my ire with his commutation of his crony Scooter Libby's jail sentence. A big :thefinger to Bush and Cheney

Not sure about your impeachment rules, but don't they have do something ******* or unconstitutional?
Or does just being a fuck up qualify?

It seems to me they are just plain incompetent, the same as our Prime Minister, but have stayed within the "Law".

The ballot is the way to fix the pricks.
If you did not vote, at all last time, shut up, suffer the pain and make sure you vote this time.
If you voted Democrat, tell everyone, "I told you so".
If you voted for the fuck ups, admit you were wrong and suffer the pain.

I am a self righteous prick and know I voted against the war here, and let it be known to anyone.

You have to stand up, be vocal and do it early.

I voted yes, but in order for impeachment proceedings to go forth, that means congress would have to get off it's ass and do something. All through the presidents second term I have been looking through the constitution for something he has done that would warrant impeachment. I have found nothing and I do not think there will be anything. Unless of course something comes out of the investigations into the VP's office by the Justice Department. The president is not stupid and he has circumvented the constitution his entire second term and royally screwed the American people up the proverbial butt. I don't think he has ever been in direct ********* of the constitution. If he had congress would have no choice but to act. I most certainly am not taking up for the man, personally I loath this president, I am just stating my belief on my he has not been removed from office.

For the executive branch, only those who have allegedly committed "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors" may be impeached. Although treason and bribery are obvious, the Constitution is silent on what constitutes a "high crime or misdemeanor."

it is up to congress to define "high crime or misdemeanor", but i believe the smoking *** would be warrantless wiretapping. it would be like convicting al capone on tax evasion, just something to make the case, however small.

Premium Link Upgrade has some very compelling arguments for impeachment.

I just hope Dick Cheney has another heart ******, and I'll be happy. :) Criminal oil tycoon; former head of Haliburton; still being funded by them. And our gas prices have risen a couple dollars under the watch of Bush and Dick "heart ******" cheney. What a load of horseshit. America has been destroyed under their watch, and I am saying this as a conservative.

The average American is being destroyed at the pump, alone. Never mind all the other things that occured under their watch.

Why even bother? They did it to Clinton and it changed nothing.

While technically you are right Clinton was impeached(had articles of impeachment brought against him)he was not convicted of it by the congress. In fact no President has ever benn susccesfuly impeached.Closest was Nixon who resigned before it got that far.Bush resigning would be acceptable.

Can't he just be impeached and then give himself a pardon? :)

You know, like when you accidentally bump into someone and say, "Oh! Pardon me"!
