Today's running of the torch "problems" show that these upcoming Olympics aren't being universally embraced. Can anyone name any other Olympics where the Organizers decided to "trim down severely" the torch route:1orglaugh
The torch is going to make landfall, for an afternoon, in San Francisco. Talk about limiting exposure...and if you look at the pictures of the torch run, it looks a lot like a "hushed and hurried" ****** of Dubya or Dick Cheney if either were to walk down Main Street USA...
Should America boycott the Olympic Games out of protest over China? Should America "threaten" to boycott the Olympics to "persuade" China to let her currency "float" on the open market (the thinking being that this action will actually help America)?
Do you Euros support your own gov't taking a "firm" action against China even with the timing of the Olympic Games?
