It matters to you enough that you follow me around giving it to me and then tearfully approach me about it after I respond in kind, barely effecting you and yet you still get butthurt. You also make posts about your unrelenting pursuit of 1 million rep and post in threads about how much rep per post you get or some shit like that. I'd say it's pretty fuckin important to you.
I only give out neg rep to mock people who get all misty eyed about something I say here or take themselves way too seriously...like you.

I'll harass all of the people that I want to harass whenever I want to harass them. It's all in good fun or I would have been banned already.
Perhaps one day you'll learn the difference between someone being
facetious and someone being serious. It's a running gag on here that rep is
very important to me. It's a gag. In other words, it's a joke.
Nobody really cares about rep. It's a meaningless number. If we were allowed to trade in points for dollars, then I would be concerned about a neg rep. But until that's implemented, it's just meaningless. And the posts about rep per post (awesomeness quotient) are in the
games section. They're all just for fun.
In order to follow you around, I would have to know who you are. And If you think a conversation about rep is heated, you obviously haven't visited any of the political threads. This is a lighthearted discussion unless you're taking this much more seriously than I am...
