It's was specified: DICK AND BALLS. The notion that brain sex is different than biological sex is asinine. No this isn't the basis for transgenderism and transsexualism. The basis is all in what you like and don't like, and your willingness to accept and live with that. That same research can be done and said for the reason I don't like mangoes as well. I'm sure some physical study can be made for me and others that feel the same way about mangoes, but that is simply a biological root of a simple concept. CHOICE and TASTE. Again, it is a very complex breakdown of a very human trait. Again, babies can do this. The research shown isn't even regarded as fact. It's still in research stage where it will remain because it's not concrete. It's not concrete, because everyone is different; not so much evolved, but simply different. What is concrete is that everyone can choose and decide. All humans have this capability, whether they can act on it or not.

Research after research have shown that there are in fact sex differences between males and females, if in those areas that females differ from males, mtf transsexuals are shown to be within a normal female range, then calling the premise of having a brain sex being at odds with genitals "asinine", is absurd and doesn't make sense. I would say your suspicion is not more valid than actual research in this field.

As for the choice, transsexuals do choose to alter their bodies, which is not the same as choosing to feel imprisoned in the 'wrong' one.

Partly true. It's not complex to me mainly because the choices are still the same either way: Adjust or Adapt. My sexual choice was just that: MY CHOICE... which is partly due to the equipment I came with, which merely bolstered my perception of being male. You are only different in that your taste is not the same as mine, thus you chose to adjust rather than adapt. Could you live with the other choice? Yes. Would you be happy with your life?
