"Sexy" uniforms - missing the point?

I'm sure I'm not the only guy who finds a girl in a nurse's uniform a bit of a turn on, so why is it that you very rarely see sets of girls in a real nurse's outfit - not some shiny PVC miniskirt with a big red + on the front and fishnet stockings. I tell ya, I've been to a fair few hospitals in my time and I've never seen any nurses dressed like that.

It it me, or are these uniform sets kind of missing the whole point of the fetish?

I agree that sometimes the uniforms are overdone and over the top. I'm not a big fan of latex either, so I don't like when that is used. I think something in between a real uniform and a sexy fantasy uniform would be good for me.

I don't really dig the latex and fishnets either. I think that the nurse uniform thing started because nurses look hot in their uniforms, and I don't see why they had to change it from what it originally was.

Scrubs are not the same thing as nurse uniforms. Comparing scrubs to nurse uniforms is like comparing baggy sweat pants to a mini skirt and stockings.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problems with a bit of PVC, or fishnets. I just think that a girl in a real nurse's uniform (okay, I'll compromise and let her wear stockings rather than bulletproof "passionkiller" tights) is a lot sexier than a girl in a rent-a-slut PVC number masquerading as a nurse outfit.

I mean, think how many more serious heart conditions there would be in hospitals if they really dressed like that? "I only went in to have my ingrown toenail looked at and I ended up needing a triple bypass!"

I'm willing to bet that they are, however, the closest thing to the requested "real" nurse outfit there is, at least these days. I've never actually seen a nurse wearing anything but scrubs in one form or another (civilian clothing aside).

All that said, anyone got any links of girls in "proper" nurse's uniform. The type they still wear in the UK.

You have a point. I think it depends on where you see the nurses. In some places they still wear the uniforms that sparked the fetish. Maybe they just turned to scrubs because of all the perverts that would come in just to have the nurse take their temperature.:dunno:

I think there's just a misconception between "uniform" and "costume"... Whereas the original poster and others (including myself) like the uniform and not care much for the costume. I'll go for both, but occasionally I would just like to see a sexy striptease out of an actual uniform.
