Quality, not quantity, is what's important. Anyone can go get laid. I don't understand why people feel a need to keep some sort of a "count," as it were. It makes you no more of a man or woman, or more an attractive man or woman, if you have had many partners.

I've had a few partners, yes, but not a LOT, and if I had my wishes, I'd only have had ONE. Sometimes it doesn't work that way, but it's (having had just one) certainly nothing for which to be ashamed or by which to feel emasculated or shrewish.
