Seriously though

Personally, I don't think it's the girls or the industry that's out of touch with reality. It's society that's out of touch with reality.

There's already a lot of unreasonable pressure on normal women to look a certain way because of society's definition of beautiful...I can't even begin to imagine what that pressure is like for those who's livelyhood depends on their looks.

So yea, I think it's easy to blame the women but until society's definition of beautiful and desirable goes back to natural...you'll have to put up with this type of thing.

I would understand that reasoning more if it wasn't for all the people that don't seem to follow it, or at least don't seem to care one way or another. When you see all the men, like here for example, on a porn board no less where logically it would seem we would be more sympathetic to the plastic look, that don't hold to the plastic unnatural ideal of beauty, it's hard to reconcile that with thinking most of society is that way. I can see some small segment of it thinking so or people in the media and entertainment thinking that, but then again that's more a subculture trying to tell people how to be or trying to tell people what everybody thinks instead of the reality of the situation. It has more to do with somebody letting a relatively small number of people color their viewpoints in a false fashion.

I also think as far as the adult industry goes there is a false, or at the very least highly exaggerated, notion that some of the things that women do to their body is going to highly improve the success of their careers and their popularity when in reality it doesn't help as much as they think it does and more often than not any gains that are made are short lived. That's made even worse by the fact that some of the procedures they have done are long term or even permanent and when they can be changed aren't easily reversed.

I don't get the hu-bub. Personally it doesn't seem logical for a woman who has built a strong following in a looks type business to then change her look but I understand why some might feel tempted.

I think many of us (men) tend to over-blow the situation. After all, there is fierce competition and these models get older not younger.

In some cases though, it is primarily about their own, personal desire for a certain look.

I mean, how many dudes would be hacking away at their cocks if there were surgeries as affordable and as successful as a simple tit job....even though time and time again most women say they are fine with the average guy?

So for many guys who harp on these girls for this...maybe take a look in the mirror and make sure you're not as sensitive to something thought to be self esteem changing.

I'm just not as particular...it bothers me when a girl I like changes her look often times unnecessarily or worse. But I'll get used to it or get over it...or there will be some other hot chick that will grab my attention and make me forget all about it.:o

In porn it still comes down to the performance. So if a chick just simply goes under the knife and the end result isn't tragic...I think most guys who aren't fundamental about it will get over it and enjoy her performances.

Yeah women get older, thats life, accept it! There's nothing like a HOT natural MILF. Unless you wanna end up with that thing posted above, my boner is done for the day after seeing that!

There should be a rally at the next AVN awards, with billboards reading, "Stay Natural, Plastic is for Manicans, not Humans"!!!

Plenty of guys are into fake tits, whether you like it or not. They both look stunning.

Its not that I'm bothered that other guys like it, thats them. I'm talking about my personal preference. If we all liked the same thing, this world would be boring and we wouldn't have topics like these to talk about:thumbsup:

I mean, if I met a girl and got her in bed and came to find out she's got a boob/butt job, would I turn her away? Hellz no....But I'd rather have a natural girl, thats all I'm saying ontop of the consiquences that come with the fake stuff.

Most important for me is a female that can look good without a gallon of makeup plastered on her face. A little is fine, but when they get all caked out it is a turn off. :2 cents:

Very True, tons of make up is gross, especially when you have it all over you after a night of cuddling!

speaking as a low key filmmaker, whatever sells is key. i work with natural and plastic, some girls are just happier being modified. the main thing is that they are happy, smiley, and ready to do a good scene. some girls feel inadequate prior to having boobjobs.

i personally hate it when a 1st time amateur i'm filming shows up with no makeup and fried hair ready to make a movie and earn some cash. and ass implants look great on most any girl. i prefer fit/athletic girls overall they're the most fun

It's absolutely ridiculous what the industry does to many of those girls.

Lela Star And McKenzee Miles were on Howard Stern last week. One of them, ( don't know which) said she previously had perfect boobs but decided to get a boob job because she was bored with them. She then said she's planning to get them taken out so she can have them filled with fat made from stem cells.

They way she talked about it was so casual...as if going under the knife is what you do when you're bored. There's this desensitization that seems part of the norm now.

Plastic surgery used to be something some did when they got old or their body went south. Now it's something you do when you can afford to have it done. I've heard all kinds of dysmorphia theories...especially ones linked to "the type of person" that generally enters the porn world. I don't know if any are true or not, but something's going on.

You're right whatever sells is key. At the end of the day, its about getting the shot and making them Benjamins:thumbsup:

I wonder if - contrary to them seeming 'happier' - if it's just that they feel more secure, for the work they want to do. It's no surprise that some of these girls would feel inadequate. That's because of this smokescreen that's been put up. Yes, what sells, sells, but I also think that industries are good at persuading the public into prefering, or buying into, whatever they see fit. The adult industry (and other parts of the entertainment industries) have an under-the-table partnership with the plastic surgeons.
The only way it would go away would be for the public to stay away from the surgically enhanced stars and only go for the naturals.
I don't really see that happening, because everything has a market. Once an element is introduced into the environment, it's hard to remove it.

Why save the world, when you can rule it?
I like some plastic women.
I like some normal women
I like some skinny, some fat, some black, white, yellow and brown.
Everyone has different tastes.
I can however agree that society puts too much pressure on females to look a certain way these days - I remember one ex would even sleep with her makeup on because she couldn't bear the thought of me seeing her without it.

Let me sum this up to you in two words my friend: Women Lie.

Natural nice looking girls are the best of the best. But looks improvement with surgery is okay for me, as long it is kept inside the boundaries. For instance, I hate to see ridiculous artificial fake tits *cough*brianabanks*cough*. That's not improvement, that's crippling.

It's absolutely astonishing how nonchalant many girls in the industry are in regard to plastic surgery. The thing that kills me every time is that there seems to be this insatiable urge to keep getting it done. If they want to get something done for their own reasons, fine, but getting 4, 5, or even more procedures done just because still boggles my mind.
