Dude, you really haven't been paying attention. Cheaper & crappier starts chipping away at the good stuff, then it aspires to do better, then it finally gets good enough to kill what came before it, then then it gets too full of itself, then another cheaper/crappier thing comes along and the cycle starts again.

Some people just like the raw, amatuer-like feel to it. Has a certain personal, voyeur quality to it that some folks dig. That's why we do both the slick-looking high-rez video stuff and the grittier, less glammy webcam stuff like this.
