So I think Dr. Phil is a quite the drama queen / exaggeration monger, either because he is oblivious to the actual facts or he uses these techniques to get his bias POV's across in the most powerful form he can present them in, ie. exaggeration, and the PC way to address things in society. so that prudish people that are critical about things which are frowned upon, and disliked and or want to disassociate themselves with have a voice to rally on..etc :2 cents: "but I for one" don't think his exaggerated claims carry much weight, when push comes to shove. He's just pointing out what people want and or need to hear to either, because..
(A) they want to feel better about themselves, because they are brainwashed to think like or want to feel important cuz Dr. Phil says or thinks about (whatever the issue is) so they feel vindicated in thinking the way they do..
(B) these people yearn to form an opinion of a subject that they are critical of or naive about and they simply want to cling to a constructive perspective of these topic's, issues, and circumstance's..etc..etc..
