Meh who cares, both cities suck ass anyway.

Conspiracy...
I read the article. That's how I know the title was misleading. That's the sort of stuff tabloids get rich doing.

Men in Black tabloid quote. :D

:hatsoff:

No fearmongering.

And the thread dies with a moan.....

Still going with a bang! :D

Nut

Is there anything wrong with the tabloids accruing wealth for themselves?
An inquiring mind would like to know.

Not really if people enjoy what they are reading.

Today I bought a case of Sam Light (my favorite brew by far) for Super Sunday. I'll be slurring like crazy by halftime while I'm cussing Eli Manning's name and his stupid big nose, and Madonna. Who knew she was even still alive? :dunno:

Madonna in the Super Bowl.

To hell with the AFC and the NFC,
this should be a contest between East and West!!!

I will not be watching...
Now I have to drive seventy miles to see my g/f and to pretend that I like horseback riding.

:1orglaugh

Where's the cowboy in you? Will you be wearing chaps and a ten gallon hat?

Pictures of the girlfriend. ;)

Will E., can you enlighten me, a german, about what it is with that brew, 'Sam Adams'?

Is that some symbolic beer or is there some issue with the owner of the brewery or what?

I just do not understand the whole issue :dunno:

It's based out of Massachusetts. The Patriots are based out of Massachusetts. Therefore, in New York, where the Giants come from, Samuel Adams is non-grata.

Long standing rivalry (hatred) between New York and New England/Boston, and vise-versa, when it comes to sports.

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
I know as per a man law, we are not supposed to fruit the beer, but Sam Adams Cherry Wheat is one of my favorite beers. I highly recommend it if you like wheat beer or wish to be ridiculed by your friends for drinking it.

I like idea about tending bar with the opposing team's jersey on in their city if your team loses. Just a friendly wager in the spirit of an East Coast rivalry. I'm pretty sure that if I had to put on a Patriots jersey, my skin would burn.

This question was already answered well, but I will add this: I generally prefer microbrews, but Sam Adams is a quality beer. This whole this is about a sports rivalry, that's all.

I am not surprised that Sam Fisher is near to being banned.

Ahhhhh, now I understand. Same here in some soccer stadiums or sportsbars. If you order the wrong beer, people can get angry.

This is so stoopid :)

I am one of the very few people who manage to support both of Hamburg's soccer clubs, the 'alpha-dog' Hamburger Sport Verein', the only premier-league soccer club that never had to drop down to second league, and the kind of underdog club of 'St. Pauli', who rsides close to the famous red-light dsistrict of the 'Reeperbahn'.

The fans hate each others guts like hell, but I find both clubs great, and whenever both of them are in the premier league, I tell people, shouldn't we be proud of these clubs???

Fans can be suckers :2 cents:

St. Pauli? As in St. Pauli beer? is that where it's made? :drool2: Now if you tell me more about this "Reeperbahn" I might just decide to pay Germany a visit next time I get some $$ for a long vacation.
