Damn....that is awful news. I wonder if league officials will take any punitive measures against Kumeliuskas. The fact that he skated off under his own power in the clip while the article said he was knocked unconscious must be indicative that the hit had taken place later in the game.

Man, do I hate that focusing on the head: headshots, high sticking .... ice hockey's supposed to be a cool sport, not horrific.
