Its not a simpel brush off since it can hurt the credibility of the whole contest. We sat down with the team and made the decision to leave it at a first and also last official warning.
Wow....well I told you guys didn't I. I wonder what would have happened if someone like me did it, or Mandy or Jaana.......you know models NOT backed by a contest sponsor....
Seconding this. Especially in light of Petra stating that "IF we catch contestants encouraging their fans to vote, they could be disqualified from this contest, and any future contest". A slap on the wrist seems far too light. Does this have anything to do with Brazzers being a sponsor?
A lot of members are butthurt over this. Wow.
I'm not a Team Member, but I think you need to place more emphasis on the "could" part of that sentence. If FreeOnes got together and decided what they did was the fairest option, there really isn't anything to complain about...
"There's been a little chatter about this. Thought maybe you'd have seen it."
And really lets ask ourselves why there has been so much chatter....is it because of her position in the contest? Really honestly ask yourself, would you give a fuck about if she was given a warning or disqualified if she wasn't in the top 5?
No I don't believe for a second that Freeones would boot me, Briana, or anyone else who doesn't have a bigtime sponsor behind them either....I am 100% certain it would be a warning also.
So many of you seem to forget what a bonus this contest is in the first place. Where the hell else are you gonna find Jaana Ruutu ahead of such huge or established names like Krystal Boyd or XO Gisele? No disrespect to Jaana at all but in the rest of the world she and I wouldn't even register on the radar in a contest with those ladies yet here we are...kicking their asses!! AND ON TOP OF THAT..getting equal billing in the contest!!
You guys get weighted votes and turn your nose up at it like it's not enough. Very few of you put a dime into freeones, your time here in the forums doesn't pay for their servers, their power bills, their taxes....Brazzers pays that shit, Sex Art, Met art, 21st sextury....and so on....they pay for this place, and WE benefit from it.
Once again this year I have seen a substantial increase in my sales and memberships because of this contest, you guys treat it like it's your God given right to have this contest when the stupid shit in this thread going on right now could be enough for them to say "Fuck it then, you don't appreciate it, why should we do it?" Who loses then....not Freeones that's for sure, and it sure won't be Brazzers or any of the ladies who work for the big production companies.
I understand your passion, and your love of the ladies you want to win, I really do, but try to keep things a little more in perspective before you find yourself wishing you hadn't cost us all something that is truly a gift.
Continued best wishes to you ladies and again, if it hasn't been done yet, would you please remove me from the OCSM category for round 3.
Yes, I do think that her Position has something to do with it, because being in that Position: a) she could end up winning the money; b) by being in that Position she has taken up the Spot of whoever ended up on the 16th Spot and perhaps didn't promote those methods.
I can live with the fact that a
Warning has been given. No Problem, it's FreeOnes Contest, they decide. Sure, to have a Rule and not enforce it equals not having a Rule at all. To enforce it on some and not on others does not make anyone look good. I would definitely have appreciated it more, if that
Warning had been issued in a more public fashion, instead of just starting one of the first Comments by the Team with a "lol"...
Now, a Warning has supposedly been given, but the incriminated tweet is still there. Couldn't the Person in question be bothered even 2 seconds to delete it? Not even suggesting that she issue a new one acknowledging that the method is "against the Rules"...
impdaddy
Forgive me please if this is seemingly a little jumbled, as I'm trying to reply to everyone that has posted on this issue.
Since I am the one who posted the initial evidence, I would like to weigh in on what is being said here. No matter what anyone says or how it is explained, cheating or simply the perception of cheating is not good for any contest and only serves to reduce confidence in the contest. I posted this as a service to Miss FreeOnes, the ladies in the contest, and the voters because I think accountability and fairness is key. If a favorite contestant of someone's legitimately fails to advance, there is (understandably) disappointment but little else; however, if a person feels that this failure is due to another participant's breaking the rules, there is disappointment, anger, and a feeling of being slighted, all of which only serve to drive away interested parties.
I simply posted what I saw on Twitter: her asking for votes through all methods; a fan of hers admitting to voting via several different methods; and her tacit acceptance of his action. Other than having FreeOnes voting rolls, this guy's devices, or Christy's computer, I can't know for sure- none of us can. What I do know is that there appeared to be an attempt to cheat, which is against the rules. Someone commented that this problem is more widespread that 1 single contestant, which may or may not be so, as contestants and voters cannot be monitored 24/7, but this seemed to blatant and obvious that it deserved to be exposed.
As with many other posters, I'm sure that my opinion of what should be done with Ms. Mack is different than that of FreeOnes for whatever reason, but since I'm not FreeOnes and I don't make nor administer the rules, her fate in this contest is not my decision. I do believe that her position in the categories should open her up to more scrutiny, as (if she has in fact cheated), much like buggster said, she could be occupying a position in the final round that should go to another contestant. Whether or not this has something to do with a sponsor backing her, again, I'm not FreeOnes, so I can't say. All things considered, I'm sure that I, as well as everyone else, would appreciate knowing exactly what constitutes a "warning" and whether or not she has been instructed to clarify the voting rules on Twitter, since this is where the alleged violation occurred.
Finally, I would like to address Mandy Flores' comments. This isn't an issue of whether or not weighted votes is enough to placate voting board members (though I would like to see that addressed), this is an issue of fairness. I can undertsand your point of view regarding the sponsors, especially considering that you are a contest sponsor, but considering that you're not competing in the 2 categories that this issue effects, don't you think that you might feel differently if you were potentially one of the contestants being slighted? Additionally, this was never an issue of FreeOnes pulling the plug on this contest- they would probably have a lot to lose from that decision as well; this is about a obvious, blatant violation of the rules and affront to the legitimacy of the contest.
