Christy Mack wasn't some unknown that won and ran away with the check. When we ran MissFO, she was already shooting loads for all the big sites and already was in the top 100 and a rising star.
Here's the thing people don't think about. Just because you don't like a particular girl (such as grannies), there's 10 people that do. That's what makes FreeOnes go round and that's what keeps us here. Of course, if you want to go run your own contest please be my guest!
I was wrong to mention names and it was not because of allegiance to any particular girl or girls that I was having a go. That model I did mention is very attractive, that cannot be denied. More an observation at the shortfalls of voting and how some play it. I am even considering entering next year, tuck my willy between my legs and release my man-boobs, to prove a point. I see nothing in the rules that you have to be a female.

Rolling Stone magazine running a similar competition with Best Ever Rock Group, Best Ever Male Vocalist, Best Ever Female Vocalist as sections, and the winners turned out to be One Direction, Justine Beiber and Hannah Montana, well all credibility disappears, winners of all categories become worthless. Maybe if prize money was not attached then it would become a truer vote, the results would probably reflect things better and some would not make the effort they do, models that interact here with the fans would rise to the top. You only have to go to past results or the models own page to see who are the ones that put the most into this, year iin year out. I remember reading one model asking her fans
NOT to vote for her in Best OCSM last year when she was in the top five last round, saying it would not be fair to the others in the running if she won, they deserved it most... and it probably cost her a very good finish. That I can admire. There should be a qualifying benchmark to compete in each category, those that jump in at the last minute as some are now doing, they get into Best Newcomer and if they hang around the whole of the next year they can qualify for another category etc.
I will defend my comment about Christy Mack simply by quoting her posts on this site, numbering 27 so far, the last being April 2013. How well she has done this year defending her titles? Winning Best Newcomer I cannot object to, but that should have been the only section you allowed her to compete in. That defines taking the money and running in my book, sodding off just about the time the check was cashed and the ink was dry.
Drama over, it's not meant to be a debate. I had to defend things I previously said that some took offence to. Good luck to all the girls, but some more than others.
