Rocky is back !!

Rocky Balboa was a good flick and a fitting end to a great franchise. It is obvious that Stallone was not happy with the way Rocky 5 left things. I couldn't agree more that film left a bad taste in my mouth for the last one. Rocky Balboa just made sense and it tied the entire franchise together for one last time and said goodbye.

I've seen that new Rocky movie. I thought it was quite good, but also a pretty depressing movie. I guess it's just the whole aspect of Rocky and the others getting older and the way their lives turn out to be, that I found kind of sad.

The ending was good though, and managed to lighten up the whole feeling of the movie, and also as a very suitable end to the series.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that when writing the above comment. I guess they could make another Rocky movie, but it really would seem wrong, since Rocky Balboa had a very fitting ending. There's no real need for another Rocky movie, but then again, this last one didn't really end in a way that would prevent more movies. It would just seem pretty unnecessary.

If there is a promise that he gets beat into oblivion and ends up a quadriplegic, and then the guy he fights beats up his son and brother-in-law with similar results I might check it out.
