Ricky Gervais

Ah ha! Ricey Gerbils!:hatsoff:
Now you're talking.:thefinger

Just watched the first episode of "An Idiot Abroad" It certainly had it's moments but it felt a tad contrived at times, which is one of the things that sometimes annoys me about the podcasts/HBO show.

The best thing Gervais, Merchant and Pilkington done was the radio show on London's XFM. Easily the funniest stuff I've ever heard.

Ricy Gervais is and always will be a televised embarassment to entertainment and an all round cunt.

I dont mean that in an uninformed attacking sense, Ive watched his stuff and he is just not funny. I even had a look through one of the books he wrote a year or so ago, Im not sure if it was a childs book or an adults book written ina childish way but it boggled the mind. Fine, hes not funny, end of story. Why call him a cunt though? The smug "Im so awesome" manner he projects about himself, if a person has the merit to act that way, fair dues. But this man has an infuriating demeanour that begs a kick in the teeth.

Its like that Mitchell and Webb show, considered funny by the masses, prime time slot and rave reviews. I sat through an entire episode (mercifully not at the required gun point it would have taken normally) with a group of people and sweet jesus you could have heard a fucking pin drop!

I think The Office was genius and Extras was fairly good but aside from that I agree with most of what you said. :D

The Mitchell and Webb show was ready bad. :horse:

Just finished watching 'An Idiot Arbroad' where this week Karl Pilkinton was sent to Jordan. Although fairly amusing it gave a great insight into the everyday life of Israelis, Palestinians and Jordanians as he stumbled his way across the Holy Land. Found a deleted scene on YouTube
