Revolution, possible Displacement Mapping??

thanks for this very interesting link :)
I don't know what to think about this, we should wait the next e3 before the truth being revelated

it is probobly just a load of bs. Remember back when they said that u would be able to download all previous titles for free? look how that turned out.

I saw the other night that the revolution is only 2 to 3 times as powerful than the gamecube, this being compared to the 360 being 10 times more powerful than the xbox. Also the price is rumored to be around $150. Nintendo has already realeased statements saying that they dont think the next gen consoles should be about high def graphics but great games with amazing gameplay. It will all come down to seeing what that control will be like during gameplay @ E3.

Still longing for realtime raytracing.
Maybe PS3 with its cell cpu's can provide enough power...
That would be a revolution.
but not parallax mapping :)

So another words they didn't have the resources or time to compete with the other consoles, so they had to come up with some excuse that says where the other consoles are better than them is not important even though great games and gameplay have little to nothing to do with how the graphics are made.

D-rock you couldn't be more wrong. You could try but you wouldn't be succesfull. Nintendo has the resources required to make a "Super" system. They just don't think it's the right way and they are right. Do not forget that they said the same but N64 was more powerfull than PS and GameCube more powerfull than PS2. So just wait and see
