Repping people - comments

I didn't mention this before but as others are. I've only neg repped one member in all my time on the board. I did leave a comment to tell that member why, I usually take time to think about the post for a while then comeback re-read it. If I still don't like what it says I send them a PM about it. If I get no answer then I'll either re-read it to see if I still don't like it and if I don't then as that one member found out I neg rep them.

I always leave a comment when I give rep, but I don't think I've ever given negative rep. I got some once, and that was weird (no comment left for me), but for the most part, it's all been positive!

I think I always leave some comment. If I'm giving rep for a good posts I try to say so. Sometimes it may just be something I found humor in and will just say LOL. Lots of times I'm just spreading the love and will say nothing more then "rep time". I wish I could always be clever but thats just not the case. Sometimes I want to give rep for a good reason but I can't so I try to remember who I wanted to rep and do it later but I don't always remember just which post to leave it for. In those cases I 'll rep the person the first chance I get. I don't often search back to find the rep worthy post.
