Report: RNC spent $2,000 at sexually themed nightclub with topless dancers

There's no proof whatsoever about these wild accusations!

Conspiracy...
They weren't in a "sex scandal."

They went to a club and ran up a bill.

It's not like they were committing adultery in the Oval Office.

That's exactly what I was thinking. How can this be a scandal if half the country (you know who you are) was defending Slick Willy for the whole Monica Blewclinski affair?

How do you people want it? IS this a scandal or ISN'T it? If it is, no problem, but then when your guys get caught with their pants down, they need to pay the piper just like the Republicans. It is not a scandal, this is a no story.

:hatsoff:

I agree on the hypocrisy.

But whether it's one (or more) Republican(s) misusing funds trying to reach "young voters" while the rest of the party preaches family values ...

Or one (or more) Democrat(s) misusing public position and location (and arguing "consent") while they lambast every man who has slept with any subordinate ...

It's still the same bullshit that's unethical and hypocritical, regardless of whether it is illegal.

It's just as wrong for people to excuse the Republicans who did this, and fine for other Republicans to separate themselves from both, as the leader of NOW who make the mistake of excusing Clinton, and other women and Democrats who would have no part of that either.

It doesn't mean the entire Republican party is hypocritical for these people's independent actions -- they are a general embarrassment to the Republican party as it crossed their platform -- just like Clinton's regular, personal, sexual attitudes towards women were crossing the Democratic platform and an embarrassment of his own.

People will argue what they want. The problem is that too many people excuse only one. That's partisanship at its best. As much as people love to lambast me here, you can't say I play partisan non-sense, despite others continually try to pin me as such and ignoring what I actually write.

Eh, you're OK, Prof. You always liked women with big, healthy hips, so I always gave you points for that alone. :hatsoff:
