Have your popcorn ready folks. The ACA replacement should be very entertaining. Swap out all the current benefiting special interests with a whole new group of special interests and watch them go to war with one another using Americans as props in their PR battles.

sadly, I think you're right.

IDIOTS KEEP SAYING IT (ACA) IS GOING TO IMPLODE ON ITS OWN !!!

The real facts are health insurance was imploding on its own before Obama care. An attempt was made to fix it. It is an improvement overall, as it is imploding more slowly. The thing just needs modifications. Sure there are some losers with the law as with all laws. This was a wide spread change and all laws have unintended side effects that you cant forsee. That is why it needs to be fixed.

Congressmen need to start respecting each other. I hope they treat each other better in the future with solid logical arguments and stop the bickering. Just call the fixed law TRUMPCARE.

I propose a total insurance reset. What does that mean? I don't know, but it sounds good.

if U.S. healthcare was like buying car insurance - companies competing for my business, I can shop for the lowest rates, they charge based on my risk factors etc., as in no one else is involved but myself, the insurance company and the autobody shop when needed. Why would my employer or the government be involved?

For those who can't afford it, you'd have programs like medicare.

would the above scenario be more cost effective all around?

Explain to me like I'm 5. Because I admit, this stuff makes my eyes roll back into my head when I read up on it.

I just don't want to be hassled and I want to keep more of my money.
