5: Twilight Zone (almost every sci-fi show/movie has taken a plot from one of their episodes)
4: Seinfeld
3: Simpsons (only seasons 1-9)
2: South Park
1: Lost
Game of Thrones gets an honorable mention but as said before, it's only one season deep but it was a hell of a season
Planet Earth is the best documentary series of all time
5: Twilight Zone (almost every sci-fi show/movie has taken a plot from one of their episodes)

Shit, all time is difficult for me as there has been so many.

2. M.A.S.H
3. Magnum PI
4. Seinfeld
5. Happy Days
I grew up with Happy Days it used to be on after cartoons after school; before supper, when I was just a kid. Shows like the 6 Million Dollar Man, Gilligans Island, the A Team and many more shows I can't think of now I could not MISS! Thing is ---- the five I listed are shows not only I could not miss but shows I talked with friends about during the week and got together at times to watch the next episode. I'd prefer a top ten ---- I've probably seen every episode of Star Trek the Next Generation and the Simpsons also.
Now shows like Alcatraz, The Borgias, Game of Thrones, Grimm, Breaking Bad, Hell on Wheels, Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead are the shows I cannot miss.

I don't know if you've read the books, but knowing what happens in "Clash of Kings" like I do, it should be just as good if not better.
