Last year I thought the Miss FreeOnes Contest couldn't get any crazier, worse, or get any more out of hand than it did. I was absolutely completely wrong. This year has far surpassed it. It's nothing but a complete circus now. I don't know if much can be done to salvage this year's contest, but I hope for it's sake the powers that be at FreeOnes VERY...VERY SERIOUSLY restructure it and go out of their ways to fix the flaws this time, and not just do a couple of very marginal things like this year that didn't really address any of the underlying problems. I also hope they very seriously take our advice and complaints into account this time and actually consider most of them and act on it. Even some of the things they did do have made it worse. They need to take a very long hard look at everything that has gone wrong with it.

If for some reason that can't or won't be done then they just need to get rid of the contest and not do it. I don't know what to say other than that. They're much better off without it. All it's doing is hurting the feeling and goodwill of too many people, especially the people that are members here and support them the most. It's been good at creating a great deal of bitterness and resentment from both many long standing members here and some of the OCSMs. This was something that was supposed to be good, bring fun on here, and make things better, but it's turned into abject disaster.

Or at least took over after the second Resident Evil film. Making the whole world a wasteland? That's too far for Resident Evil. It has always been isolated and Umbrella has always taken care of it one way or the other before it became widespread infection. Hence the island, middle of nowhere, and underground facilities. Easier to control than if they just did it haphazardly in some apartment/underground lab where it escapes by chance.

Oh well. I will still watch the fourth Resident Evil...
