Anybody who is a hardcore racing fan in North America probably knows or has heard of Ralph Gilles. I met him several years ago when he was trying to get the Viper project re-started. And he's a true blue car guy, more so than just your average suit working for an automotive OEM. He's a very articulate, measured individual. But you can tell that he is passionate about his business and he (obviously) can get feisty. In the past 48 hours, Romney has been kicked in the balls by both GM and Chrysler over his crazy false claim (otherwise known as a lie)... and pissed off most of the employees at Toledo North Assembly, etc. Dude! :wtf:
If Romney loses Ohio, I pick this lie about Jeep leaving Toledo (and Ohio overall) as a primary reason. And having a pair of size 15 clown shoes, like Donald Trump, repeating the lie over & over is not helping one bit! Of the people I know, who work in automotive in Ohio, who were fairly well set to vote for Romney, all but a couple have now abandoned him. Real smooth move there, Mittens. Why the hell would a sane person tell a bald faced lie that's going to scare the hell out of people (including engineers and managers), knowing full well that the lie is going to be exposed within a New York minute???!!!
