one thing about operation ivy that you have to keep in mind is that they were like 16 years old at the time too.
anyway thier album rocks my world and it is essential to my existance.

also thier lead singer jesse was in a band called SAG when he was 12, and that band later went on to become Crimpshrine which had tim armstrong (of opivy and rancid)on guitars, with jeff ott and aaron cometbus.
that band rocks my world even harder and is essential to my daily existance.

I forgot Suicidal Tendencies. Their first album is a punk/hardcore classic, their later albums are also really good but more speed metal.
