Ps3 slim release and Japan sales last week up 150x.....

japan ps3 sales went from 1,000 units 2 weeks ago to selling 150,800 from
8/31-9/6 thanks to the slim model release and price cut. With NHL10 next week,Uncharted2 in mid October,Granturismo5 now coming this year,Assasins creed2,CODmodern2 and people that havent jumped on the Infamous & Madden wagons yet its safe to say that ps3 will be the hot holiday item this year...

the slim was announced at gamescom along with the $100 price cut. the price cut went into affect immediately and the slim system is available but not world wide till oct. the slim has everything the original has but a bigger 120gig hdd. after the original ps3 model stock is sold, there will be nothin but slims available just like they did with the 2 diff ps2 models.
