(PS3) Could you guys recommend me some decent offline co-op games?

I plead the 5th...
Just wondering. I'm not that much of a gamer. I'm just lookin' for a decent offline co-op game to play with one of my homies (yeah, I said that. ;)) Since most games you have to play online just to play co-op (I live in a rural area. No fuckin' high speed internet. Just mobile broadband or satellite.).

I own a PS3 and I know about Resistince (1,2,3), Killzone 3 & Borderlands (1,2) having offline co-op. So any other good offline co-op games you guys could recommend?

Thanks in advance folks.

Special Operations FOX-HOUND
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a good co-op game, sure it's a little buggy, but it's a good game.

I am not a massive fan of it but WORLD AT WAR (Treyarch's COD title). It's single player campaign is split screen co-op but a select couple of single player missions are missing, like the whole sniper section unfortunately. I think this could be for two reasons, one: one guy has to be the spotter for taking out the sniper and the other the shooter, this could be difficult if y'all is not good at talking to each other as a team haha, and two: it slows the pacing down of the co-op side of things. Maybe that's why its missing from the co-op campaign options. AND if you or your partner goes down during battle in co-op you can be revived within a certain time if the other persons quick enough to revive you (a bar appears above the fallen character and depletes to nothing then death). So get reviving as soon as.

You could always opt for Resident Failure 6... sorry I mean Resident Action 6... sorry again I mean Resident Evil 6 as it has co-op on all three main campaigns. Chris's, Leon's and Jakes. But playing this alone while doing a co-op at other times means, in order not to lose your own progress or the co-op progress, you will have to finish a chapter NOT at a save point during a chapter. Finish the chapter first. Then you can continue the solo or co-op campaign on the other characters campaign from where you left off. As long as the chapter from the solo or co-op is finished first. Nothing should be lost then. It's shit I know that you can't just do both solo and co-op at the same time without that. AND never switch off the game upon seeing CHECKPOINT as it doesn't save at the checkpoints. There is a select few SAVE points throughout each chapter for in single player mode. Once you see SAVING and the typewriter appear onscreen then and only then is it safe to switch off. Doing so before means starting from the last save point, or even the start of the level again.
