Problems, bugs, errors with the board Pt. 2 (READ THE FIRST POST)

The board is being updated at 11am this morning (5am for the EST). We have a few issues that have been FIXED, so please read this list carefully before you make your post reporting a problem, bug, or error.

Important: When reporting a problem, error, or bug PLEASE tell us how you're browsing the board (computer, mobile device, ipad, etc) and what browser + browser version you're using.

Known Issues

- Text not wrapping properly while replying. This is a problem with CKEditor (which the software uses), not vbulletin itself.

- Multi-quote quotes accumulating if you reply to a thread after doing multiquote once before in that thread.

- + Reply to Thread using the quick reply vs. the advanced form.

- Multi-quote using the quick reply instead of the advanced form.

- Reply w/quote using the quick reply instead of the advanced form.

Functions as Intended and Won't Be Changing

- Signatures (http://board.freeones.com/profile.php?do=editsignature): You may have up to 4 lines in total in your signature. This gives you 1 line for your signature + 3 lines of text. A space between 2 lines IS counted as a line.

- People with under 5 posts don't get a signature. Post and get one!

- Reputation: Yes, your rep power (the rep you see on your posts) IS reduced. This is intentional. It now takes a lot more reputation to get 1 point of rep power. However, you do get more clicks in a day.

- Search: This is confusing people since there are actually additions to it. The default tab searches for posts and visitor messages. The other is the old advanced search.

- Where to edit your profile: Settings

- Where to find all of your posts/threads (up to the last 500): My Profile

In my "settings" tab, in the old format we were able to collapse "infractions" "latest rep given" and "latest rep received." Can we bring that back?

Unfortunately, that's not a feature of vb4. I'll put it on my list of "would be nice" but I'm not sure if it's going to happen.

Hi there,
I'm not able to use the authenticated session of my.freeones.com also for board anymore.
after logged in on my.freeones.com, once switching to the board I'm asked to enter login and password again.
first it was recognized automatically.

is it a known issue/behavior?

I've just attempted to post a new thread. At the end I attempted to add three tags. All three had less than 20 letters. The Board would not accept the post "because of the tag with more than 20 letters".

My Computer Browser is IE8

IE9 on my computer. I am still getting absolutely nowhere replying with quote. And it's still acting the exact same way as before, no change or variation.

My avatar doesn´t show up when i´ve made a post using quick reply. Everyone else´s avatar is there, but i have to reload the page for my own to appear. I use Firefox 7.

Question, are you seeing the "recently active OCSM" bar in the main board page show up oddly as well??

I was hoping it was a server sync issue. I'll give Raymond a heads up it's still happening.

I post quite frequently and too often return from "search" to find my initial work deleted. Desktop with IE8.

I'm seriously considering saving the work as an email and copying across when I've finished.

As a quick reply, this one lost it's avatar.

Yeah, that happened to me a while ago. Just the once.
Other than that, everything has been working fine, except sometimes my Avatar won't show up the last couple of days.
I'm on Windows 7, IE9.

Oh yeah, how do you post/quote a "single post" as link now?
I asked this in the other thread before I saw this new one.
