Luxemburg is spelled correctly, it's just other countries spell other cities and countries differently. Same für München (Munich), Köln (Cologne), Deutschland (Germany).

As for the visiting countries that either discriminate or use the other approach, say, it does not exist in themselves (Ahmadinejad, former Iran president comes to mind) ... Probably they will ignore the matter.
