Have you ever found out a pornstar's real name?
I was looking for a movie by "butters" that sexy woman from backroom facials . And on stupid luck I found out her real name, so I wanted to check it if it was the real deal and copy/paste it in google. To my suprise I got her facebook page and it's really her, but I don't have facebook DAMN

We add actors, musicians, and other people on face book. We don't stalk them, but we keep in touch and like to follow what they have to say. It's part of human nature. It's stupid that people think your stalking because you add on face book. They don't need to show anyone their profile if they don't want to.

Can't watch them on TV EITHER it's considered stalking!

Last time I checked anyways many guys are obsessed with porn. Reason they make money.

She said I don't know what your talking about. She was sooo uncomfortable. UGH!! I should have never told him her real last name, oh well...

It's not too hard to find most porn stars "real" names...

I'd say most girls choose stage names or aliases because there's still a stigma attached to porn: a lot of people still lose their jobs or have family and personal issues when they're found out.

If they become super famous and have long careers, like Seka, Christy Canyon or Vanessa del Rio (their reals name are fairly well known and not hard to find), I guess it doesn't matter so much. I know a few names of other less well known girls. One girl who I knew in the D.C. area danced for awhile, moved to California and did a short stint in porn... and now she's an attorney working for the state of California (I kinda doubt she advertises her past at work).

And you have to remember, for some girls at least, the "porn name" is an alter ego. One girl I've traded emails with for several years asked me to refer to her by a different name at a certain point. Our conversations were not about her career or her sex scenes - just everyday type stuff: what races I'd been to, what car I had now, what car I wanted next, what trips she'd taken, her goals in life, what I thought of a given stock or invesment, etc. She said when I called her by her porn name, I was talking to that "other girl". So I began referring to her by her given name. If I had something to say about a scene where she put her legs behind her head, I guess I'd refer to her (in the 3rd person?) by her porn name - ya know, something "that girl" did.

I'd say there are a lot of girls who maintain a porn identity and a real world identity. Whatever works...

My best friends know that I'm Lisa but they using my birthname. Thats private. Lisa is my stage name and I can hide myself between that name. Lisa is a little bit different than I am.

So good friends see when I'm switching between these two persons.
And it's also strange when people alway using my stagename than start using my realname!

I considered it pretty trusting on her part for this girl to tell me her real name. But by then, like I said, we'd been trading emails and eventually phone calls for some time. Just as pals.

The one question that I had for her, and I'll ask you too, are there ever situations where you forget who you're supposed to be? Sounds funny, I know. But I mean, like you're at a party and some people may know you by both names, but other people don't - they know one name, but not the other. So how do you work with that?

She said it actually takes more work to keep that straight than one might imagine. Do you have the same feeling as her, or is it just not that big a deal?

I can understand if first and last names were listed, but I haven't seen any of that in this thread. Wikipedia lists First, Middle and Last names of a lot of Pornstars. Should wikipedia be shut down? Get off your high horse.
