Re: Pornstar Blogs... a waste of time or do you really care what porn chicks have to
The only pornstar blog I have visited is Sandee Westgates. I just don't get why a pornstar needs a blog to tell us about how her sick dog is being taken to the vet or what she had for lunch the other day. To me it seems only the really creepy obsessed porn addicts would be interested in that kind of information so they can feel as if they personally know a pornstar.
Just use your blog to keep genuine fans updated on how your career is going - what new movies you are doing, what conventions and awards you will be at etc.
I could be way off here...but I'd be willing to bet you just don't get a lot of things. Just a hunch...
It's like... if you started chatting with someone and grew to be friends online, and then found out they were in the industry...that's what I like about some people's blogs. Vicky is way cooler than a lot of people...and she is not alone in this.
If you are looking for porn...it's right there. Some really different ladies do this job, and a lot more are interesting than not. I mean...how smart do you have to be to work like a dog, take shit from people that are no better or smarter than you, and try to continue the situation for as long and as often as possible? I am referring of course to most every job open to females in the general job market.
It takes some "balls" and a little more than the average self awareness to make a good living in the adult biz, on the whole
D); so I am always interested in seeing what a lot of the stars have to say outside the job.
Granted...just like Hollywood and the music biz, a lot of people get run over by the BS and flash; some lose their way, some never knew where they were in the first place.
But those special people who go their own way, and never lose themselves to an image, are really fun to listen to.
