3.) Robert Rosenberg (EU) - All charges dropped except posession of drugs - A lot of people in the music & movie industry do drugs and/or alcohol, this includes, but is not limited to porn...
4.) Joy Marquart - Scamming 5 New Jersey banks - I assume she was in need of a lot of money, there's no proof that this crime is in any way connected to porn, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, simply because the most plausible reason would be that after she quit she lacked any form of decent income & resorted to this...
5.) Genevieve Elise Silva - Skip this as the board rules won't allow it - Anyway, a very sick person & she might (although it isn't mentioned) have convinced the other person to do what he did with the help of her movies & pics besides the drugs that are mentioned in the article
6.) Janine Lindemulder - Failed to pay the IRS - The reason isn't mentioned, so I can't say there's a connection nor can I think of a plausible reason for not paying the IRS that is linked to porn...
7.) Christopher Jack Reid - Skip this as the board rules won't allow it - Lock him up & throw away the key... Of course most of the people convicted for this crime do not work in the Porn industry...
8.) Kathryn Gannon - received stock tips whom she passed on to her lover - If someone else had been the girlfriend of this lover, then that other person would have probably received the stock tips... I can't really connect this to porn at all...
9.) Anna Ilona Staller - burned an american flag - Woohoo... is this considered to be a serious crime these days?!?
10.) Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes - murder of a rival porn executive - It's hard not to connect this to the porn industry, but then again, these two men might have done the same had they worked in any other industry together...
11.) Mary Carey - name too similar to that of singer Mariah Carey- Since when is this a crime?!?
12.) Fleur Brown (EU?!?) - Won't mention the crime (board rules...) - No way around this... This is 100% connected to porn (nr 1 of the 11 'crimes' or 12 'criminals' btw)
13.) Ron Jeremy - No charges. 1 women of 150 who got their boobs signed claims he touched them without permission...- No charges and the story itself seems rather stupid. She probably wanted to sue Ron Jeremy for the money... This shouldn't be on the list...
14.) Dandy David Wiles - used credit card of a man who died in the emergency room he worked at - If he hadn't worked in the porn bussiness he still would have done it. This falls in the category criminals working in emergency rooms...
15.) Barbie Cummings - Speeding, claims she had sex with the state trooper & didn't show up at court - Besides the claims she had sex with state trooper, this applies to so many people it can not be connected to porn at all...
16.) Timothy Boham - Robbery & Murder because he needed money for his girlfriend who was pregnant - Once again, not something connected to porn at all...
17.) Hope Miller - wasn't sued for anything, did sue a radio station - Even though she's not the one being accused, it is connected to the bussiness... (but it's the other way around...)
there are 6027 pornstars listed here on freeones. Let us only remove 9, 11 & 13 from that list... that leaves us with 14 crimes. 14 divided by 6027 multiplied by 100 gives us a grand percentage of 0.23%....
So in my honest opinion there's not much of a connection at all...
