Not necessarily biased, but like almost everything reported on TV, very superficial. (Last week's show was on Nascar, if you watch a little racing, you probably already knew everything they said.) I;ll be interested if the mention that most of the money/profit goes to big corporations that own cable companies, DirecTV, DishTV etc.

Actaully the free porn does threaten a lot of the industry. A lot of porn on tube sites are stolen. No one should support stolen content. :2 cents:

i watched the documentary but every time i watch an porn documentary they always show Vivid & Wicked only? yeah i know they are two of the biggest companies but i don't buy any of there stuff. it's just weird that they never interview companies like (john stagliano's Evil Angel) Elegent Angel or Performer - Director Lexx they are the ones i support and i'm sure alot of people do also.

She's 100% accurate. In the documentary Steve Hirsch co-founder of Vivid, said he's seen all kinds of pirated vivid scenes on youtube-for-porn type websites.The pay by month sites that arent free are hurting shops and dvd sales tremendously. I myself went from buying porn vhs,to buying porn dvd's, to renting porn dvd's,and now filling up hardrives with downloadable porn. Thats in the course of 16yrs. I havent stepped foot in an adult store or family type videostore that rents porn in 5 years.

Yea, I don't like vivid either. They have a tendency of using condoms in their scenes and I can't stand seeing condoms in the scenes I watch. I don't even like wearing them myself. I do, but I much prefer bareback. So when it comes to porn I won't watch if they use em.

It's because Vivid and Wicked are the porn companies that are closest to the mainstream, in that they have some niche stuff that caters to the degenrates out there: ass-to-mouth, dirty-ass-to-mouth, slapping chicks, punching chicks, choking chicks, etc, it's a tiny part of their output and one they don't publicize. Plus the CEO's of Vivid and Wicked have never been hands on involved in the industry, they've never acted/performed in a porn vid or directed or produced one, to them it's all about the cashflow, they see it strictly as a business. And let's be serious, having the face of the porn industry be Evil Angel isn't going to do the industry any favors, especially since Stagliano got Aids because he got fucked in his butthole by a Brazilian transexual; there's no way that can be spun to a positive light.

Agreed but also market saturation is just as damaging if you ask me. Nowadays any decent looking couple with a camcorder can do porn. So yep I wouldnt get too fussed on the whole tube site thing.
