I don't have any gay friends or associates (that I know of) because frankly, we wouldn't much of anything in common but I give everyone their basic human respect.

You say this like being gay is interest. You wouldn't have anything in common with another man that is attracted to other men? I can understand how that sounds...

Here's what I mean for example...there are a couple of members at my cigar club who I suspect might be gay but I don't know it and I don't care. We socialize, joke, etc..now though we associate there on some level relating to cigars and general interests (because they are just people too like anyone else)...I'm not friends with them because in these particular cases they don't share some of my other interests where I'm inclined to relate to my friends with...horn dogging chicks, sports, etc.

I don't seek to avoid nor befriend anyone straight, gay or otherwise...friendship is based on some commonality. The more things you generally have in common with someone the closer the association or bond.

Saying not having much (of) anything in common is a little unrealistic and I'm glad it was pointed out by you and others. What was meant is the circle of activity I have created friendships on, gays don't generally gravitate to.

I wouldn't call JaneB an insider. If a director or a Lisa Ann, Rachel Starr or Eva Evangelina wanted to comment on this stuff then that's taken with more authority. But they aren't commenting. Why? In the end, the government is probably going to have to step in and regulate this industry like they regulate mainstream film production and mandate condoms or some other measures.
