I would think that there are a lot of families out there who have been devastated by these priests. Catholic families. I don't think it would hurt to acknowledge that they have been done a wrong by the Church, not just a bunch of rogue priests. It would do them a lot of good I would think. I'm sooo glad I'm not religious. But, yeah, as a man with a job to inspire people, the pope did the most reasonable thing to mention his opinion about gays. Whether it's negative or not, bringing up the mere fact that the catholic church tried to hide the child molestation cannot and will not be denied. The pope needs to address this, perhaps not this pope, but A POPE, ANY POPE needs to say they were in the wrong. Sad part is I'm pretty sure they won't cause they are the big bad catholics and they have a reputation to uphold. Thats where pride comes in and according to your bible, pride is a sin.
