I think for some folks, the only way they'll ever say that the cops were out of line is if the person who was tased was already dead.
BTW, I've been to Kamloops within the last 3 years, and it's a town of less than 100,000 and seemed quite mellow. It's hard to swallow the idea that the cops tased him out of some idea of expediency because they had more serious things to deal with out on the mean streets.
3 officers....and this was all they could come up with. I think that when these taser guns are in "armed" mode that it somehow simultaneously turns off the officer's ability to THINK.
