The "this American Life" podcast is a real narrative-style podcast. If you're looking for things like sports info, it's not for you. It's a very carefully written story on a different topic each week, and it's often quite emotional. Top writing. Not for everyone.
The other one is about excellent music that isn't necessarily nationally known. Pretty good bands.
What sort of podcasts are you looking for?
That sounds like pretty much exactly what I'm looking for there's this podast "lovers and other strangers"....it's about songs and sayings and he relates them
Fareed Zakaria's GPS. I also listen to The Guardian's Football(Soccer) Weekly, BBC'S Global News and NY Times Front Page.
Sid and Tim Uncut is amazing for (Canadian) sport fans
