Oh yes. I will definately be picking up "Planet Hulk" when it comes out.
The storyline itself is nothing short of incredible. We've all seen the old Hulk Smash scenario countless times, but with "Planet Hulk", we finally got to see the Hulk in a gladiator type setting where he's actually using weapons to smash monsterous adversaries into the ground.
"Planet Hulk" was sincerely one of the better Hulk storylines to come around in quite some time, and hopefully this animated effort can do the storyline justice. Looks promising enough.
Soon after all 3 of the Hulk's personalites merged and joined the Pantheon, he was sent on a mission to help topple the dictator of a fictional middle eastern country and that was the first time I had ever seen the Hulk use a gun...er a cannon that he ripped off of an enemy tank. He did some serious damage with that thing and he did it in bunny slippers! ( Oh. man do I ever so love the Hulk!)
Planet Hulk I am interested in seeing but I want to read the book first.![]()
LOL I have been reading comics for a long time the chicks are so hot!
So, here's the scoop. DC Direct is providing equal representation for one Roy G. Biv in their upcoming "Blackest Night" Power Ring Spectrum Set, with an extra ring offered in the name of the Black Lanterns. Totally new and unique, right?
If you've been buying "Blackest Night" and related tie-ins from DC Comics, your local comic book store should be providing you with free rings. But those little guys have nothing on the DC Direct versions, which instantly light up when slid on your finger thanks to a long-lasting LED bulb.
The Power Ring Spectrum Set also has much more detail than the free versions currently available in comic shops. That's the least that DC Direct could do if the company is charging $59.99 for the set of eight rings. Still, when you consider the fact that you could master the powers of the full color spectrum for barely $60.00*, the cost might be well worth it.
