I am just so jazzed that you read comic books Nina, you kick so much ass!
I have been a fan of The Incredible Hulk since I was little and I collected the original series from 1990-1995 during Peter David's run and when all 3 personalities merged. (I stll have them) It was the best comics series I have ever read.
I haven't read any recent Hulk but I heard Planet without a Hulk was really good. I have been reading She-Hulk and I got great satisfaction out of her kicking Iron Man's ass for his part in banishing Banner into space. (Unforunately, he used a device that turned her permenently back into regular Jen Walters.)

I'd buy one if they would release it here in my country.

Oh yes. I will definately be picking up "Planet Hulk" when it comes out. :)

The storyline itself is nothing short of incredible. We've all seen the old Hulk Smash scenario countless times, but with "Planet Hulk", we finally got to see the Hulk in a gladiator type setting where he's actually using weapons to smash monsterous adversaries into the ground. :D

"Planet Hulk" was sincerely one of the better Hulk storylines to come around in quite some time, and hopefully this animated effort can do the storyline justice. Looks promising enough.

Soon after all 3 of the Hulk's personalites merged and joined the Pantheon, he was sent on a mission to help topple the dictator of a fictional middle eastern country and that was the first time I had ever seen the Hulk use a gun...er a cannon that he ripped off of an enemy tank. He did some serious damage with that thing and he did it in bunny slippers! ( Oh. man do I ever so love the Hulk!)

Planet Hulk I am interested in seeing but I want to read the book first.:D

More of a DC reader than marvel, being an aussie it's going to come across as being weird (with the whole truth, justice and the American way).... but i totally dug Superman when i was little. Had more Superman merchandise than anything else (other than my Masters of the Universe collection), adored the movie and it still rates as my favorite super hero movie.... and indeed overall favorite movie of all time.

In saying that i'm not totally opposed to Marvel, i've enjoyed many of their hero stories over the years, while most of my friends were into Spider-man, X-Men etc.... i loved Captain America.

I like Hulk, have many single comics and complete story arc collections, thought the first movie was a lot better than what most think of it. I didn't go for the second one as much.

Will be checking it out when it comes out over here.

Yeah, that was a staple of the 1990's. Character's walking around with oversized guns, or huge cannons. :D

I think even Doc Ock used a gun (which is very out of the ordinary when it comes to him) in the "Revenge of the Sinister Six" storyline. But yeah, the bunny slippers thing is a pretty fun visual image. Originally, the Professor Hulk (or Merged Hulk as I think he was originally called) was to be the merged personalities of the Green Savage Hulk, the Grey "Mr. Fixit" Hulk, and Bruce Banner combined into one physical being. Years later, it was revealed that the Professor Hulk was just yet another Hulk personality, which basically opened the door for the Green Scar Hulk that made his debut in the "Planet Hulk" storyline after a extended period of the Hulk being in flux with personalities shifting quite frequently.

Oh, and read the book. Being a fan of the Hulk (which obviously you are), you will not be disappointed.

LOL I have been reading comics for a long time the chicks are so hot!

Great Googa Mooga! You were already hovering right there around being a Perfect 10, but this just shot you up to about a fifteen or twenty! Gorgeous chicks who read comics; what else could a guy ask for?

Do you like dark beer, by any chance? :D

$60 for a set, but bought:

http://www.comicsalliance.com/2009/...detailed-power-rings-armed-with-led-goodness/

So, here's the scoop. DC Direct is providing equal representation for one Roy G. Biv in their upcoming "Blackest Night" Power Ring Spectrum Set, with an extra ring offered in the name of the Black Lanterns. Totally new and unique, right?
If you've been buying "Blackest Night" and related tie-ins from DC Comics, your local comic book store should be providing you with free rings. But those little guys have nothing on the DC Direct versions, which instantly light up when slid on your finger thanks to a long-lasting LED bulb.

The Power Ring Spectrum Set also has much more detail than the free versions currently available in comic shops. That's the least that DC Direct could do if the company is charging $59.99 for the set of eight rings. Still, when you consider the fact that you could master the powers of the full color spectrum for barely $60.00*, the cost might be well worth it.

Nina plays games too!

What's so odd about someone liking comics and games and stuff like that???

That's what I like about Nina, she doesn't come on here just to plug her stuff (not all OCSMs do this, so don't think I am saying all do), heck... tonight I saw her naked for the first time because of Ezteban's signature! I just think of her as a member who plays games and talks games. :hatsoff:

With Marvel bought up by Disney, I am hoping for more films like this to come out with some super serious awesome quality both visually and plot! :D
