Picture attachements being randomly removed from posts - anyone else having this issue?

I was looking at a couple of threads where I frequently post, and saw that for posts where I have clearly attached 3 different pictures in the past, one or more of the pictures is now gone from the post.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it - sometimes the first picture that was attached has disappeared, sometimes the second...and sometimes a post will have had 2 of the pictures removed, while the very next post is fine, with all 3 pictures displayed.

There doesn't seem to be any note from the mods indicating an edit to the post, and I have not received any notification that there has been some sort of violation - I am pretty careful about this anyway, and besides, there are instances where I posted multiple pics from the same "scene" and only one of them is now gone.

I first noticed this in the Kendra Lust thread, and now see the same random thing is happening in the "shocked by the size of his cock" thread...I suspect this will be the case in other threads where I have posted picture attachments

Is anyone else seeing this with their posts? Do mods check this area often and actually follow up on issues like this?

Link? If you're using a hoster, it could be having issues on their side. If its an attachment, if you have added too many, some will be removed. Could very well be an internal issue though. No reports so far but we will keep an eye out.

Thanks for your prompt reply. As far as a link, this page shows what I am talking about - posts 2401 and 2414 have had a picture attachment removed (in post 2401 it was the last one attached, in post 2414 it was the first one attached). These are pictures loaded directly off my computer, and posting too many/too large shouldn't be an issue, as the "manage attachments" commands have always prevented me from attaching more than 3 pics, and/or more than a certain total size.

another example here to show it's not just happening to newer posts...post 6326 (first on the page) is missing the 2nd and 3rd attached pic, and at least one is missing from post 6333 and 6349....but everything seems fine for posts 6332 and 6344

I looked at other posts by other people, and it seems to be happening to others as well. Maybe I am missing something here, but it looks like picture attachments are disappearing in a pretty random fashion - not necessarily the first or last pic, not even every post with picture attachments is affected.

Post 2401 showed up for me with 2 broken image icons for the attachments.
When I right clicked each icon and opened the image in a new tab it popped up.
Went back to the post, refreshed the page and voila, the images were there.

Did not see any broken image icons for post 2414, all images are there for me.

So, I don't know what this is but maybe you just need to refresh the browser and the images are back, might be a caching or cookie issue.

I've had this happen too. I posted a pic to "On Your Knees..." of Sunny Lane. It was there for a while, too. Just disappeared, but the post is still there. I posted a pic to "Splits", and I even got rep for it, so I know it showed for a while, at least. But it's gone too. Both were attachments, not hosted elsewhere.

Early this morning and tonight, I've been trying to attach pictures from one of my harddrives... when I click on the link I'm getting this, "Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator."

Well, I guess it's a mobile thing - the attachments show on the desktop.

it's not a mobile thing for me - I have only been accessing via a desktop

there's something weird going on in general with the attachments - some of the newer posts in threads will have one attachment work, but another will just show up a black screen with one tiny white dot in the middle. I've seen attachments come up that way once in a while previously, but over the last couple of days it's been every other post I've seen...

I just posted pictures of Yuzuki Aikawa and Angela Sommers in Games. I did not do an inline post with "ATTACH" starting on the left, followed by the attachment number, for example, # 555005 and ending with "ATTACH" on the right; instead I posted as regular pictures whereby a moderator must approve them. I did not get the normal "Attachments Pending Approval" I received immediate viewing...

Well, at least freeones is keeping things interesting - now if I go back to previous posts, the picture that was "missing" the last few days is showing up, and the ones that survived the original shitshow are usually missing.

and when I try to add the picture attachments, at least one of them fails to show up in the queue, and has to be re-added in the "manage attachments" area multiple times (usually 3) before it will show up.

and any time I attach more than one pic, if I check the attachments right after posting, I get the black screen/white dot of death combo on at least one of the pics, and have to edit the post and unattach/reattach the mangled pic (things usually work the second time).

other than that, things are running like a well-oiled machine.....

You do not need to report these posts, like I mentioned in an earlier post, the images are not missing but it seems to be a caching or syncing problem.
When you refresh the page, images pop back up, but others can then also disappear.

This has already been reported to the tech guy.
I just can't say when he has time to look into this.

Some pics I upload work fine but others have not come up at all. I can see everyone elses posted pictures though.

When I go back to edit my blank posts or reply with a quote the attached images appear again as text "View attachment 56789
