Pelosi Shouted Down By Mexicans?

Hiliary 2020
They really pooped on her parade. Treated her like a red headed hijastro.
What do you all make of this? Real? Staged? Bad sign for the Dems?
What really happened?

I've coined a new term. This is a "Whatever" story. Same shit that's happening to everyone else, everywhere else. This time it's Pelosi. Next time it will be somebody else.

I gotta say, above and beyond everything else, I'm sick to death of everything being ultimately run by 60, 70, and 80 year olds. So, regardless of "Whatever", if they're in that bracket and they're getting yelled at; tuff shit, let 'em retire.

I think this is a major problem with most of the things hanging over our heads. We have people running this country that are way out of touch, because of massive age differences, and they can't seem to grasp the problems because they're to busy demanding respect they aren't willing to give back. To busy trying to hang on to the last few years of power, and not spending time solving the problems.

In general. I realize that's a pretty "blanket" statement, and I wish I had better answers, but I think a lot of the dividing lines that separate race, and economic classes, are the result of out of touch politicians that spend to little time doing the right thing, and to much time puffing out their chests, and spewing meaningless crap.

Bad sign for the establishment Dems - I hope a lot worse of a sign than they think. Then again, 2016 was pretty fucking bad, and their heads only went farther up their asses.

100% agree on letting them retire. Though I don't think age is the biggest factor here (it definitely is, though), rather than time in office. I'd trust a new 70-year-old Congressperson who was sick of how things are going and decided they needed to change, over a 50-year-old Congressperson who's been there for twenty years already.

Fuuuuuck, shhhh! You're giving away the whole plot! You mean to say that our problems stem from those with all the power, rather than, say, the poor or immigrants who have no power?! Whhhaaaat?!

(This sarcasm isn't directed at you, but at the narratives played out in political debate after political debate, on the internet or TV or elsewhere, etc.)

I'd agree with you about the 70 and 80 year-olds....I wouldn't include the 60s quite yet. :D ;)

The answer isn't to eliminate these people from the process. Hell, as the baby boomers fade in senility we already comprise 50 million people....not exactly an insignificant number. The problem is that all you seem to have at the top is old people.....Trump, Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, McCain, Graham....the only "youngster" in the bunch is Ryan. We need a greater mix of ages determining the course of our country. Term limits, anyone?
