Pay Sites

I have a few questions about pay sites. Although I am addicted to porn like so many of you out there, I have never subcribed to a pay site. This is because I was unsure about my privicy. So if any of you belong to a pay site maybe you can clear up a few things.

Since I have to use my credit card, the site will have personal information about me. Will I have to worry about them trying to conntact me about special offers (or any other reason)over the phone or by snail mail? I would rather not have my wife find out what I am doing on the internet all the time
What about these adult verification sites? Do I have to worry about the same thing with them?

Well anyway, if you can help a fellow perv out, I will be very graetful

Wrong, Never use any paysites except Playboy, Penthouse etc.

Some of those are sting operations run by the FBI, Never give out your credit cards.

The only way to convict you and put you in federal prison is you give out your name and credit card. It is the Fed that want you to go to prison !

hotrod, with all due respect, that is ridiculous. There is nothing illegal about joining a porn site. As long as it doesn't contain illegal material.

And 99.9% of the paysite companies are perfectly trustworthy when it comes to your credit card and personal details. Hell, most paysite companies don't even see your credit card details, that is the billing co.'s work.

I've joined several sites through the years, and I have never received anything unsolicited in the mail. I have gotten emails, but that is it.

Maybe hotrod's experience is with snuff or kiddieporn sites, in that case, his extreme paranoia would be logical. Otherwise, YOU ARE A FUCKING LUNATIC ! ! !

Nothing wrong with pay sites. I joined one a few years ago, and was only disappointed by the content. It's one of the common sites you see advertised, but it sucked, LOL I've been skeptical ever since.

Only other thing I didn't like is how some places will charge you for an extra month even if you cancel before the date listed. The one I joined did it, and I know I've heard others say the same thing.

Best thing is to check the review sites. A few places sign up and review them on content and overall service.

ETA: On the wife finding out, I'd be careful unless you know she won't look. Fairly easy if you know how to look for cookies and other traces of where you've been online. You will receive magazines, letters, phone calls, and free sex toys though. (kidding of course)

i've done the paysite thing as well...just didn't seem worth it after a while...there's plenty of good free content around (thanks to sites like FO). if i'm looking for something or someone in particular i'll hit up one of my filesharing resources from time to time.
