Re: Deborah/Patricia Heaton
No.
Better stylist (the oversized plaid shirts replaced with tighter and shorter dresses and tops), better haircuts (styled to her face and above all longer), better lighting (the set was lit in the early episodes for the set, instead of for the actors) and better make-up.
I think that she and the producers just found "her" after a few years and finally learned how to present her.
I think this is a large part of it. Maybe peppered with a bit of they "wanted" to present her the original way because of the "mom" factor and just decided to let her "grow" as a woman. We (women) often have to take a step back and find that piece of ourselves we had lost for a few years in the mix. A husband, children, life etc. Its very easy to give all of you away to everyone you love and keep nothing for yourself for a time. I love the way they wrote it into the show.
That and the boob job perhaps.
On the show her character denied this when written into one episode. In fact in real life she has had breast surgery and a tummy tuck. I personally think she is a
very attractive woman. To answer the topic though, no I wouldn't love to **** Deborah. lol
Recently on one of my top three favorite shows
"Ghost Whisperers" Jennifer Love Hewitt has ruined her own character. In the beginning she fit it perfect. Now she dresses as a model, low cut tops, breasts hanging out
all the time, spiked heels daily. She lives in a tiny town and owns an Antique shop in the town square. wearing dresses to work you would wear to cocktail parties in Hollywood, not to a day at work in an antique shop looking ridiculous in the part now. Its turned me against the show really. I don't think they've done it either, I think its her morphing slowly to try and sell herself for future rolls, ruining a perfectly good show.
